Supportive Services for Veteran Families

IN NEED OF SUPPORT?
The Veterans Inc. Supportive Services for Veterans and Veteran Families Program helps individuals and families who are homeless or at risk. If you meet the basic eligibility requirements, Veterans Inc. provides direct services and financial assistance to help search for housing, assist with initial rent costs, and pay for certain bills related to back rent or utilities.

- Emergency Supplies
- Legal Services

To be eligible for the SSVF program, Veterans and Veteran families must meet ALL THREE criteria below:
- Veteran and Veteran Family status – a single Veteran or a family in which the head of household or the spouse of the head of household is a Veteran
- Low income – that does not exceed 80% of your area’s median income
- Occupying Permanent Housing – You are either currently residing in permanent housing and seeking assistance to prevent eviction, or you are currently experiencing homelessness and/or have secured permanent housing with a scheduled move-in date within the next 90 days.
