George grew up in Worcester, where he attended the public school system and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Natural Science from Assumption College. In 2023, he retired after 44-years-experience working for FM Global and held the title Engineering Specialist. His expertise included risk management to several large industrial accounts protecting against perils that can affect their business. Over the years, he operated in several capacities that included supervision, training, and lead engineer for the company’s Boston office. His specialties included dust explosion calculations and mitigation.
